Farm Gallery
Take a break from the hectic chaos of everyday life and come experience the peace & quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a lavender farm!
We invite you to Fairlamb Lavender Farm to experience the tranquil setting of a rustic family farm, home to over 600 lavender plants. Stroll through the lavender field, first planted in 2017 with 10 varieties of English and French lavender.
Fairlamb Lavender Farm is located in scenic Deer Creek Township in Mercer County PA, home to Goddard State Park, Lake Wilhelm, wineries, campgrounds and bike trails mingled with rustic barns & farms, country roads and lots of wildlife.
The farm – both the house and the grounds – were neglected and rundown 15+ years ago when we decided we wanted to try to make this a working farm again. As the 4th generation owners of this beautiful farm, its important to us to carry on the proud family tradition of farming and working this land. We decided to grow lavender and open the farm to the public to share our vision. Progress on restoring the 100+ year old
farmhouse on our farm continues; come and see our latest projects. We’ve recently moved into the farmhouse, ask to see the before and after photos to see how far we’ve come!
Sadly, the original 1900 era barn didn’t survive to present day, although the barn stone foundation still exists – we’re working on restacking the stone walls to preserve them and in 2021 we will be building a picnic pavilion on our patio using recovered wood and beams from an antique barn.
The original milk house and a 1950s era silo are both still standing. Our gift shop opened May of 2019 in the
authentic milk house. Our shop has a selection of lavender products, gifts and lavender plants for sale along with a carefully selected vintage collectibles, architectural salvage pieces, primitive antiques, ironstone & glassware. Inventory is constantly changing, come see what treasures you can find in our shop!
At this time our farm and the farm shop are open to the public weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day and by appointment the rest of the year. You can purchase our products online and also find our products at local craft shows through the area. For the latest information on upcoming shows and our hours, see our Facebook page.
