U-Pick

We welcome guests to come harvest their own lavender! Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the lavender field and pick your own fresh bundles of blooming lavender in season.  We grow both English lavender and French lavender to extend the bloom time from mid to late June into August. English lavenders bloom first earlier in the summer, starting mid to late June in our area.  Tall fragrant French lavenders bloom a bit later, in mid-summer, through the beginning of August.  In the fall we often get a 2nd smaller bloom from both varieties.

Lavender bloom times are dependent on the weather therefore completely out of our control, and supplies are limited.  Please check with us to confirm availability.  Before picking, we ask that you check in with us in the gift shop for instructions and scissors and the band to secure your bundle.

Lavender bundles are beautiful and fragrant in your home, both fresh and dried. To dry your bundle, hang upside down out of the direct sunlight in a well ventilated area for about 2 weeks. Dried bundles last indefinitely plus you can use the buds in potpourri, for sachets and for crafts.

As a safety reminder, Lavender attracts insects, including bees.  Typically insects and bees are calmed by the lavender, just like we are.  Bee stings are rare but please take necessary precautions if you have any medical concerns.
