How can the summer be over and its September already! I can’t believe this summer flew by already!
When we opened our shop this spring I wasn’t sure what to expect of this summer with all the restrictions for COVID-19. So many businesses were either closed, had restricted hours or they were only doing business virtually. With people staying home to self quarantine, I wasn’t sure our little lavender shop & farm would have any customers at all. But we decided we would try opening and see what happened – since the lavender field & our patio are wide open, people can easily social distance.
Amazing enough, so many lovely people came to view the lavender, explore our farm, shop and just to chat! I have met and talked to many many wonderful people this summer. Lots of people picked lavender bundles, took amazing photos and sampled our lavender lemonade. We put up tents and had great turnout for Paint & Sip, Wreath making and Lavender Wand workshops.
We had such a successful summer, I was sad to close for the season Labor Day Weekend! Thank you to all our wonderful visitors and customers! Thank you for sharing your photos with me, and supporting our lavender farm.
Our lavender is done blooming and the season is over, but we our products are still available on our new improved website at www.fairlamblavenderfarm.com. The website is still under construction and we’re working out a few bugs. If you visit our website and purchase something during the month of September, let me know what you think of the new website and I’ll include a free gift with your purchase! You can also find Fairlamb Lavender at Mimi’s Backwoods Bakery Fall Open House Saturday October 3rd from 11-3. This will be an outside event, at Mimi’s Bakery, 8 Nutt Road, Grove City, PA. Come check out all the great vendors that will be here!
Halloween we will be open at the lavender farm for a fun event, Witch’s Night Out! Saturday October 31st from 3-8 we’ll be having a Halloween party with vendors, crafts & activities, a medium to tell your fortune and door prizes! We’re working on a haunted trail, and we’re showing the movie Night of the Living Dead at dusk on our patio! Be sure to wear your witch’s hat when you come, the best decorated witch’s hat will win a prize! Decorate hat in advance, or use our supplies once you get here!
Advance tickets are $25/person, $45 for a couple or $30 at the door. Hope to see you here!
