Sunflower Art in the Garden!   Sunday August 7th      1:00-3:00                 $35/person
Join us for a fun afternoon Garden Party at Fairlamb Lavender Farm with artist Wendy Ahlm painting sunflowers. A light lunch will be provided, along with Lavender Lemonade and Lavender Sangria to enjoy while you paint.
Materials will be provided. Students will paint with professional artist materials and learn how to transfer images to watercolor paper, use masking fluid, layer watercolors and paint this vibrant image of sunflowers.
About the instructor: Wendy Ahlm is an award-winning artist who grew up in Pennsylvania. She paints in watercolor, oils and pastels and serves on the Board of Directors for the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. She loves to paint landscapes, flowers and sometimes – dinosaurs! Wendy resides in Tijeras, NM with her husband, two dogs and nine chickens. Visit her website at wendyahlmart.com.
